02.09.10 ANOTHER FRIENDLY DRAW FOR YOUTH!!

United's youngsters continued their build up to the new season when they drew their second pre-season friendly at Lechlade.

Having drawn at Bampton in their opener they drew 2-2 at Lechlade with goals coming from Joe Fullerton and Ryan Moore.

11.08.10 yOUTH SHARE SPOILS IN FRIENDLY!!

United's new youngsters shared an exciting 3-3 draw with Bampton Town Reseves in their opening pre-season friendly of the new season with the goals coming from David Weetman (2) and Joe Fullerton.

Meanwhile it has been confirmed that the Under 18's will compete in the Allied Counties Central Division this season after turning down promotion following winning the title last season.

With an all new team the decision was made to remain at the same level and they will come up against Abingdon United, Aylesbury FC, Buckingham Athletic, Carterton, Didcot Town, Flackwell Heath, Kidlington and Marlow.

Also in the Allied Counties League Cup we have been drawn at home to Knaphill in the Preliminary Round.

In the Joe Wroughton Oxfordshire Under 18's Cup we have been drawn at home to Chinnor.

14.07.10 YOUNGSTERS SET TO RETURN!!

Following the success of last season's Under 18 side their will be a new batch of youngsters trying to shine for United this season.

With the vast majority of last year's team now too old it will be a very new looking squad that pull on the United colours this season as they begin a new year in the Allied Counties North Division.

Training begins on Monday 19th July and any existing or new players should meet at Marriotts Stadium at 6-45pm for a 7-00pm start for the first session.

09.07.10 YOUTH SET TO FACE COVE TEST!!

United's youngsters face an away trip in the FA Youth Cup when they were drawn away at Cove in the Preliminary Round with the tie to be played in the Week commencing 6th September.

The winners will then face Oxford City in the next round.
